The Spanish Network of Stress Research has joined the Global Stress and Resilience Research Network
The Spanish Network of Stress Research (REIS) is now part of the Global Stress and Resilience Research Network (GSRNet), funded by the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT). GSRNet will be coordinated under the direction of behavioral neuroscientist Carmen Sandi, Director of the Behavioral Genetics Laboratory at the Brain Mind Institute of EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), along with Dominique de Quervain, Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Basel and co-applicant of GSRNet.
This new research network integrates research networks from different European countries and aims to achieve a better understanding of stress in various social and geographical contexts, to develop personalized interventions, and to mitigate stress and enhance resilience.
